Exclusive Books is one of South Africa's largest bookselling chains with stores throughout South Africa with its own rich personality. Since its founding, Exclusive Books has a history of peaceful political protest, stocking "undesirable" and censored content. Our stores have been graced by unforgettable guest speakers, from Spike Milligan to Archbishop Tutu, Frank Muir to Francois Pienaar. Celebrity customers, such as Nelson Mandela and Michael Jackson, have discovered their favourite exclusive books. In 1951, we opened our first store in Johannesburg's King George Street and have since expanded with over 50 stores, 1 being in the one and only Clearwater Mall, situated close to entrance 2, shop LM138. While Exclusive Books may be online, at heart we remain as we started out: a unique local bookstore staffed by the best readers that are still crazy about books after all these years.
